If you don’t have Robert Johnson’s Close Personal Friend, buy it now. It is one of my favorite power pop albums of all time. Try this one and you’ll be hooked.

I happen to be one of the lucky ones with a digital cdr of Robert Johnson’s Close Personal Friend. About 3 years ago I gathered all of my obscure albums from the 70’s and 80’s and sent them to Reclaim Media online to have them digitally transferred. They are a great little “ma & pa” local outfit from Seattle who are gaining a great reputation for digitizing old albums, cassettes, 45’s etc…… I highly recommend you send your old albums etc. to them for transfer to the digital age. I totally agree 100% on Bruce’s review of Close Personal Friend. It is an almost perfect power pop album.
The Robert Johnson Demos were better than the album
And Robert Johnson was a member of John Entwhistle’s OX
