COMICS BEAT web site is one of *the* places on the net to keep up on all things…well, comics driven!  Their column THE BEAT just did a recent article on Pop Geek Heaven’s own, MIKE BARON.   THE BEAT is the Comics Beat’s site’s daily news blog of comics news, reviews, and information.

Like a Pop Geek Heaven for comic geeks?  Hmm.

Baron is a well respected comic and graphics novel writer for over 30 years and he’s been on a creative roll of late, pumping out three novels in the last 9 months.

Below is an article that The Beat did on Baron with a link to the full article at the end of the blurb.

(from Comics Beat web site…)

“Mike Baron is best known as the co-creator of NEXUS and BADGER, two of the signature comics series of the indie ’80s. While the ups and downs of his NEXUS co-conspirator Steve Rude have been pretty well documented, what about Baron? We hear he’s got a revamp of the Badger simmering at the resurrected First Comics. But he’s also staying incredibly busy turning out novels by the bushel. In fact he has turned out three in recent months, with appropriately pulpy covers. Yes they are e-books, but no feverish novel about a spook called in to discover why the world’s leaders are spontaneously combusting is complete without a pulpy cover!   CLICK HERE to read the rest of this article……
