Yes it’s a decent song – I know I enjoyed it back in the early 2000’s.
Another great Elms album that gets overlooked is their 2nd album ‘Truth, Soul, Rock & Roll’. So much better than (for my money) than their debut ‘Big Surprise’ in which ‘Hey, Hey’ came from. Not saying that ‘big Surprise isn’t good, it’s just that ‘Truth, Soul, Rock & Roll’ rocks a little better and sounds a little gritier and to some extent a little more ‘grown-up’ than ‘Big Surprise’.
I’ve always felt that ‘Truth, Soul, Rock & Roll’ reminds me alot of Tom Petty styled songs. It’s really good and should get mentioned more often!

Hey, Hey, Rhett. I really like this song. At first it reminded me of one of my favorite bands Sloan. I really like old Tom Petty so I’ll check out the other album too. Just wanted to let you know I’ve been looking around over on the Big Star site. Even left a couple of posts. Thanks again.
