Also wanted to let everyone know that Markus Holler of Sugarbush Records just released a remastered version of the first Orgone Box CD on vinyl. (Limited edition of 400 copies.) Re-recorded versions of songs like ‘Judy Over the Rainbow’ and ‘Mirrorball.’ ALSO … a totally new track from Rick. As the saying goes, extremely highly recommended!
The title let you know this is psycadelic (sp) genre of 1968. Unlike many of you I lived through it. The song writing is excellent and captures the period but updates its sound. Harmonies and style changes are excellent. This genre doesn’t accent guitar solos. The video is simple but captures the mood and enhances the experience. I’ve heard a lot worse as far as far as stereotyping. I would definitely be interested in hearing more from the fine artist.
Ah, Rick Corcoran! Unmitigated genius. Must go play my Orgone Box stuff now. One tune is NOT enough! 🙂
