Hey There, Hi There, Ho There Brother Betas!

UPDATED INFO:

WHITE WATER RAFTING: It’s the height of the season for white water rafting in late June/early July, so if you’ve never done it, this is a GREAT time to knock it down.

Best place is this one, as it has a whole post-game thing with outdoor activites(volleyball, band playing, outdoor pub):

https://www.raftmw.com/paddlers-pub/

There is a whitewater park right outside of downtown that opened a few years ago, nice place to hang, take a kayak down or a boogie board or just kick-back the edge of the water.

=========================================================================

It’s two weeks late but here it IS.  We talked about it in Park City and y’all were over the moon and excited about the details of….(for those not there) my 60th Birthday Blowout in Ft. Collins, Colorado, the main days of awesome are Friday, July 8th and Saturday, July 9th!

Below are the details with the concert, the fund raiser, the breweries & distilleries, the insane great dining, the hiking, the hotel(another cool option to consider on a lake w/ kayaking and canoeing) and more.  There’s a LOT of information here – I wanted to give you the full picture.

Here’s the story I shared at Park City.  I have a friend who the leader of…the best cover band you’ve ever heard!  He’s a professor of classical guitar at Colorado State University but he’s a rocker(and a big fan of my old label’s work for decades).  This band has played the world famous Red Rocks and other 15K+ outdoor venues in our region so…yeah, total pros. An 8-piece band(w/ a 3 piece string section so they can play Electric Light Orchestra and “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin, which they will be playing, it’s amazing!)…and the band is going to play at the best music venue in Northern Colorado(by far).  They are called:  Mr. Majestyk’s 8-Track Mind. (great or terrible name, depending on how you view it)

They will play two long, insanely and ridiculously fabulific and fun sets.  The set list I’m working on w/ the band is….totally SICK.  You’re gonna love it. 110% guaranteed memorable music memory good time!

The opening band is one of my bands from my Not Lame Recordings days, THE SHAZAM.  They were very much a popular cult band, appeared in Coors beer commercials I got them and there will actually be fans flying in to see them because this slot will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of their most popular album. (links to Spotify on link page

)

The show is on Saturday, July 9th. The bitchin’ poster is enclosed below and the band bio at the link along with other info on the show. (the set list is SICK!!!)

I am organizing the show along with my band leader friend and it’s also going to be a fundraiser for Ruth’s non-profit where she is the Executive Director(info at the link…amazing, life changing work in India). It’s called INDIA TRANSFORMED.

Me? Well, I’ll be pulled up on stage and playing air guitar to a song or two in front of 500-600 people at this venue, making a total asswipe of myself (unapologetically) so you can laugh(or cry at the horror) at my expense…with my complete and total blessing.

I’ll be hosting a BBQ party at our house the night before at our house, got a bunch of steaks and burgers to roll out because I have a consulting client that is family-run premium beef farm, a keg, cocktails and plenty of…plenty.

WITH THE WEEKEND IN FT. COLINS, here’s the thing. There’s TONS to do…a full scope of everything is fully linked below.

Some of you have already put on the calendar and made reservations – and you not only deeply honor me but you….YOU ROCK!

We’ll have stupid silly fun…for 2/3 nights, whatever makes sense for you!  You’ll have plenty of time not seeing me and doing other things(I know, I know….I’m an acquired taste) or hanging around me, too.  Regardless, you’ll be able to explore the beauty of Ft. Collins(and it very much is) and the surrounding mountains.  We’ll eat, drink, celebrate, party and rock it hard.

All right.  That’s it.  Email, text or call me with any and all questions. 970-690-5225
Rawk, no Roll,

Bruce

WHAT TO DO IN FT. COLLINS and SURROUNDING AREA:

Honestly, as I pored over and curated all this info, I’m worried about Sir Jeff of Mills – that he’ll make it out of town standing upright.  He may not, but Jeff will have a big ‘ole smile on his face as you’ll soon see below. 😀

THINGS TO DO IN FT. COLLINS:
