I have this idea. I think it’s a good one.

Here it is:
What would it like to have a peak inside the music collections of hundreds of fellow power pop fanatics, real pop geeks. You see, PGH thought it would be cool to interview you and me. To find out what are favorite albums of all time, what our most obscure artists and band are, the stories of our first concert, how we store and organize our collection – the inside peak into the soul and heart of real music geeks.
Us.
It could be called “Power Pop Pioneers”. Or not – we’ll decide on the title together.
What do you think? Is there something there?
Maybe. We’ll see. As a community, we’ll do some back and forth and see what we’d like to see inside such a project. Then….do it.
This one that HAS TO have the participation of the community or it doesn’t happen. I think that’s kind of cool.

not really shared the idea except here, Rob so when someone sees it, they’re probably going like you sayin’ “Hmmm, that sounds interesting/fun!”(hopfully).
I’m working on the POWER POP PRIME books right now, then doing another (much) smaller and cheaper book series and was gonna start work on this in late Fall/early Winter – and communicating with everyone about it.

very cool idea. i’ve been a collector of many genres since i was a kid. now, as time and technology has progressedand formats have changed, i would find it interesting to see how other geeksare storing their collections
